This is an active participle of the verb "aara" (starting from "ain") which means "to wander, to rove". Thus, this name means "wandering, roving, vagabond". Rather strange name i would say :D

According to "a dictionary of muslim names" book , FARIA is a muslim name which means "tall,towering lofty, pretty, slim,slender".This name spells in arabic same as in this web site.
