The word تصرّف is embezzlement in a sense, but it is better described as fake possession, when one takes something over without right. A phrase: تصرّف بلا معارض means to take fake possession without any opposition.

Thank you Mr Master Fahad for your reply to my query, and your interpretation to my word 'tassaruf'. ;)
This has actually put me into a little predicament because i was expecting this word to mean something else. So plz can you help me with another little problem as urdu is not my first language.
I need a suitable word to complete the following sentence - "Mujhe bhi apni azadi pe dekha jaye to pura _______ tha'. The interpreation of what i am trying to say in this sentence is - 'I was also (content/satisfied/happy) with my freedom.
I will appreciate your help.

IF YOU SAY THAT "MUJHE BHI APNI AZADI PE DEKHA JAYE TO PURA IKHTIAR THA" IT WILL BE SAME.
